A contract between master and servant isn't a simple exchange of mana, doctor.
During intensive situations, your physical health would be negatively impacted. The more mana a Servant needs, the more taxing it is. It is rarely a problem normally, but as a divine spirit, the mana I consume is far above average. And furthermore, outside party could easily perceive this link, painting a target on your back.
Most importantly, there are the command spells. Humans who decide to provide mana do not do so for free. They are awarded three command spells that are capable of temporarily helping or enhancing their Servants. However, those spells can also be used to give a command they absolutely cannot disobey to their Servant.
So trust is required for you to form a contract with a potential Master.
[ Because the only other thing that seems like a downside is the potential that he cannot supply the mana she needs, thus becoming incapacitated during a fight. Everything else doesn't bother him. ]
Then it would be best to pursue a method that will allow you to take mana without forming the contract. Are you capable of accepting mana from others without such a contract?
Were I to kill them, yes. I will other not stoop that low.
I appreciate your efforts doctor, but this is an idea you should abandon. What you seek to build has a name. We call them Holy Grails. They contain enormous amount of mana that are enough to keep lesser Servants together.
However, their very existence is a source of strife and conflict. Wars are waged around them and a Beast even used their power to try and incinerate all of humanity. I doubt not you would be capable of creating something similar to a Holy Grail - through more ethical means than the magi of my world - with enough research and time.
But the consequences... You are already familiar with them. No matter how pure your intentions, this would unavoidably draw attention. The wrong sort of intention.
[ He's learning a lot about Ereshkigal's world. A Holy Grail... he'd question why a grail of all things, but he's seen weirder worshipped as a religious artifact.
It's true that certain technology would be coveted and draw the attention of the wrong people. LILITH's summoning technology is one such example. If this mana is capable of allowing near impossible feats at larger quantities, then anything that could generate that amount would be extremely valuable.
He is not like the members of the Genius Society. If it does not benefit humanity, he will not pursue the knowledge. And he doesn't know enough to know if Ereshkigal's assertions are correct. ]
Very well. At your insistence, I will not pursue the topic any further. However, if you are aware of any agreeable method by which I can assist you with your mana shortage, do not be afraid to inform me. Your improved performance on the battlefield will be a boon to all of us.

She supposes there are ways, but- ]
Why would you want to verify that?
