[ Him not liking the Scrooge McDuck plushie is proof that he is absolutely lacking where good taste is concerned. But that's not the topic, is it? Ereshkigal listens to him, features growing sadder with every words. Ah. It is about an outsider who vanished, there are no doubts left about it.

[ It's inevitable. When this world and hers will be saved... That'll be it for this avatar. She won't be needed any more and she'll go back to her usual duties. The miracles that allowed for her to leave will end, and she'll be back to a lonely life. ]

When I think about it, I... [A pause.] I-I want to cry... to scream... I know it's going to be even more painful now that I know what life is like outside - what having people you enjoy spending time is. [She could discard those memories... That pain is proof that I have lived, even if only briefly.

[ She looks up at him and tries smiling. It's not very effective, she's teary-eyed. B-But she's doing her best....! ]

Don't be disappointed in yourself for having lived, Callisto. Nothing lasts forever. And that's why... That's why we should enjoy the good things while they last.
