unfortunately, it doesn't last. there's so much on her mind. she just gets like this when there's so much to think about. so, it does help. for a bit.

feeling the bed sink next to her, she looks up from her knees and sees the hug incoming and accepts it. leaning into it and burying her face in her shoulder. as ever, the temperature doesn't bother her. if anything, it's nice.

all this thinking has overheated her brain and the cool pressure of the goddess's arms around her is a relief. it is warm, though. warmth to know you're cared about so far, far away from home. after a steadying breath, she leans back and smiles more fully and it lasts much longer than a second at ereshkigal. ]

I can't decide on the color of the bridesmaid dresses. Maybe a soft blue? Or, like, a champagne color? I'm thinking of a cherry blossom theme.
